Job Summary:

Manage the daily operations of the assigned branch in conjunction with the Branch Manager.

Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Distribute workload, prioritize and monitor completion of tasks.
  • Open new and maintain existing bank accounts.
  • Communicate branch initiatives, developments and problems.
  • Ensure branch is in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor staff performance and address performance issues as appropriate.
  • Prepare staff schedules managing high to low servicing periods.
  • Assist customers and staff with resolving problems.
  • Approve large currency transactions.
  • Read and review available literature pertaining to regulations governing accounts.

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls, e-mails, mail and in-person requests.
  • Comply with company policies, practices and procedures.
  • Attend meetings and prepare follow-up as needed.
  • Set goals, prioritize and execute duties of the position.
  • Manage documents, files and electronic information in an organized, efficient and secure manner.
  • Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner.
  • Communicate with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Perform quality and quantity of duties as expected for position.
  • Complete company required training courses as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Has working knowledge of basic teller and service rep functions.
  • Has demonstrated good management skills.
  • One year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
