  • To ensure that global network for air and sea is constantly growing by developing the target markets.
  • Responsible for overall GND co-ordination related activities at PAN India
  • Working on agents business inquires and submitting rates to agents
  • Reviewing the rate submission to agent and following up for business conversion
  • Analysis of quote submission and arranging reviews with agents
  • Drives company’s business development through agents. Follow up for Business opportunities in GND Network.
  • Executes the short, medium and long term strategy in alignment with the Line Management.
  • Handle business opportunities and acting as Route Manager on existing business from Agents
  • Build special market knowledge and support the group with the same whenever needed or requested .
  • Maintaining the Account Profile of the agent by keeping relevant details like contacts, addresses, etc. up-to-date.
  • Coordination with Product Management on procurement and product solutions of the specific market.
  • Be the Key contact to follow up with Agents on open issues. Driving the feedback process on Service quality.
  • Manage agents’ grievances and interact with different operational and commercial levels for Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Building long-term relationships of highest level with strategic partners. Support setting corporate standards and ensure them to be followed sustainably.
  • Maintain Quote Log and share conversion details at regular intervals.
  • Maintain and share monthly tariffs with Agents.
  • Be available 24x7 to discuss in case on doubts/escalations/approvals required
  • Work in close coordination with other team members and support the business activity from different agents in different part of world.
  • Education Qualification
  • Mandatory - Graduate in any discipline
  • Preferred - Post-graduate in Management with specialization in International Business/ Shipping and Logistics/ Sales & Marketing
  • Experience and Skills
  • Market knowledge of logistics/ freight forwarding
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS office.
  • Atleast 10 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding with additional experience of managing agent business.
  • Language Proficiency – Must have excellent command over spoken and written English
