Assistant Manager – Ad Sales

TLDR

Drive revenue growth by developing strong relationships with Retail/Agency clients and execute sales strategies with a focus on innovative content and activations.

Role Summary: Responsible for driving revenue growth through Retail/Agency clients by planning, negotiating, and executing sales strategies. Own and manage predominantly Retail/Direct business by building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders. Create and sell high-quality content and on-ground activations aligned with regional calendar events to expand brand and commercial opportunities. Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables. Key Responsibilities & Tasks: ·       Execute comprehensive Sales strategies and campaigns that align with the company's goals and objectives. ·       Responsible for driving revenue growth and establishing strategic partnerships with agencies meticulously planning, negotiating, and executing the strategy. ·       Actively contribute consistently on every On Air /Local programming/Live activation towards a ROI of 40% and above. ·       Scout for new clients, contribute and meet the nos. on IIB. ·       Maintaining a healthy share of the ad revenue amongst the South Asian channels. ·       Own and manage Retail/Direct business - Develop, manage and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to help support planning and execution of strategic goals. ·       Prospect, penetrate and create new relationships with advertisers and advertising agencies to grow the book of business. ·       Drive deals to closure in a new business environment & grow revenue from existing advertisers ·       Manage a client list and work closely with media agencies, building & maintaining strong relationships in the industry. ·       Help in creating & selling high quality content/on-ground activation in line with the regions calendar events to increase and diversify opportunities for brand & commercial partners, identifying potential for events & activations. ·       Responsible for pitching innovative executions for a wide variety of different clients. ·       Drive new revenue across the 3 revenue verticals by establishing relationships with new partners & clients. ·       Monitor Sales consistency across On-Air, On-ground & local programming. ·       Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and ad market dynamics to identify opportunities and optimize sales strategies ·       Provide regular sales reports, performance analysis, and insights to management to assess progress and inform decision-making ·       Analysing market trends and competitor activities to develop competitive sales strategies ·       Present and analyze data, inform sales approaches, and optimize performance. ·       Responsible for timely collection of outstanding’s.   Preferred Qualifications : ·       Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media, or a related field. ·       4–8 years of experience in Ad Sales, Media Sales, or Brand Partnerships, preferably in the MENA region. ·       Proven experience in handling Retail/Direct and Agency clients. ·       Strong understanding of the Dubai / UAE market, regional consumer landscape, and advertiser ecosystem. ·       Experience in selling integrated solutions including content, sponsorships, and on-ground activations/events.
