The award-winning The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort and The Westin Resort, Costa Navarino are seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to reflect the true essence of hospitality, creating in every guest a worth remembering experience.

Being part of our Front Office team, you will:

  • Assist the Front Office Manager for short- and long-term planning and day-to-day operations of the front of house and related areas.
  • Co-ordinate all activities, operations and running of Front Office – whilst actively displaying a proactive front of house leadership style.
  • Together with FO team, take a leading role in positively representing the company with guests, always reinforcing a guest-oriented approach to hotel operations.
  • Set up and maintain a high level of personal service and guest recognition, with particular attention to VIP's, Marriot Bonvoy Guests, upgrades and amenities.
  • Ensure quality of data is maintained within the property management system enabling accurate guest history and sales information. Ensure quality of Administrational tasks is maintained and communication with the Finance department is smooth.
  • Allocate reservations according to procedures, escalating to Front Office Manager when necessary.
  • Run operations and be constantly present at all points of Front office (Reception, concierge, bell attendant, door attendant activity)
  • Monitor team for productivity and effectiveness; report issues of attention be on top of developing team members, assisting Front office Manager in performance appraisal.
  • Ensure training profiles, SOP and brand standards are in place and kept up to date. 

Requirements

  • Be a people person with enviable guest service skills;
  • At least 3 years of experience within the hospitality industry in managerial position. FO experience in a 5 star hotel preferred;
  • Hold a Hospitality degree;
  • Be a great communicator who allures guests from all over the world;
  • Have unflappable temperament and professional integrity;
  • Be an inspiring team player;
  • Have proper communication etiquette (both written and spoken) with internal and external guests;
  • Speak, write and converse freely in both Greek and English. Knowledge of additional language will be an advantage;
  • Possess strong computer skills and knowledge of Opera software
  • Have impeccable cooperation, attention to detail, inspiration, and organizational skills;
  • Be able to act proactively and constantly find creative solutions in every guest encounter;
  • Have the ability to prioritize and multitask.
