JOB DESCRIPTION 

 We are looking for an ambitious & driven Assistant Brand Manager to help support the growing Spirits Portfolio which includes brands such as Campari (IOI), Tullamore D.E.W. Whiskey and Hendrick's Gin (ROI) in the Irish market. This person will focus on building brand awareness, rate-of-sale, increasing visibility, and executing engaging consumer & trade activations.  Managing cross-functional relationships within the organisation as well as liaising with the global marketing team & external agencies.  If you are interested in working on an exciting portfolio of brands, looking to gain tremendous experience, and are up for a challenge, this is the role for you! 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support the Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager to develop world-class brand plans to deliver brand objectives and drive brand growth. Work closely with commercial teams to plan, coordinate & evaluate brand activation & visibility activity. 
  • Support the BM / SBM to execute all TTL campaigns with a primary focus for the ABM on how the campaign is brought to life in the on & off trade. 
  • Social media - Lead end-to-end campaign management of our social media channels, by developing and implementing innovative social media strategies to enhance brand presence and engagement online, while working with internal & external agencies to ensure seamless collaboration.  
  • PR: support of execution of strategic PR plans in alignment with overall brand objectives, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning.  
  • Create & execute the trade marketing strategy across the WGS portfolio for Off Trade, and On Trade with support from the Brand Manager. Identify opportunities and growth trends and adapt them into strategy and execution.  
  • POS Management- Responsible for creating & executing all point-of-sale material or adaption of international displays for both on & off trade. 
  • Work closely with field sales team to create & track distribution & visibility KPIs along with merchandising guidelines for in- outlet execution. 
  • Brand Analysis – Responsible for a monthly report on performance updates, tracking brand launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns. 
  • Budget Management - ownership of day-to-day brand budgets & their tracking.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to providing regular updates on spending and variances while creation and issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) to vendors. 
  • Competitor Analysis- Monthly analysis of pricing, In-store activity, on-trade activity, market trends & media campaigns. 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Understanding of the FMCG Industry (Alcohol Industry experience preferred) and the Irish retail & bar landscape. 
  • 1 year of marketing/trade marketing or brand-related experience. 
  • Shows strong initiative & drive. 
  • Analytical, strategic & ability to problem-solve. 
  • Demonstrates an ability to work autonomously. 
  • Strong communication & presentation skills. 
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task.  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Packages, namely Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
