We are now recruiting an Asset Servicing Administrator to work in a team of administrators and ensure the delivery of excellence in the administration of Corporate Actions & Dividends on a 12-month Fixed-term contract.                 

Asset Servicing is a department under the Custody umbrella. It is made up of three teams: Event Capture, Dividends Processing and Corporate Actions Processing. The administrator will be expected to complete an assigned work load, manage their tasks intraday, communicate with and assist their colleagues to ensure the team’s work is completed. The role is an operations role so it is key that the process is performed to a high standard to ensure the ongoing success of AJ Bell.

What does the job involve?

  • Capturing event information for both Dividends & Corporate Actions
  • Creating and maintaining records of the event
  • Compiling & issuing customer notifications for forthcoming events, where required
  • Collating customer responses, where required
  • Instructing counterparties / custodians
  • Reconciling positions at different stages through the event
  • Processing events to customer accounts
  • Notifying customers when events are completed
  • Ensuring that we are adhering with all compliance policies including AML, CASS, Clear Desk and breach reporting

What you'll have:

  • You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grades A*-C (or equivalent) including Maths and English
  • Ability and commitment to deliver excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competent IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in high pressure deadline driven environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience of financial services, or a keen interest in it, is desirable
  • Advanced excel skills
