Omelet, an award-winning, independent creative agency with a growing and exciting client roster, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated, multidisciplinary Art Director for its Hollywood headquarters location.

You are a conceptual Art Director with a strong design background who is passionate and driven to make work people will talk about. You’re nimble, curious, entrepreneurial, and collaborative in how you solve creative challenges.  You especially have an interest in the future of social media and harnessing AI in innovative, creative and responsible ways. In addition, you are a student of trends in culture, media, and technology, and relish in finding inventive uses of media to tell stories. Every assignment, big or small, is an opportunity to create something special for yourself and for your clients.

We are a hybrid office. Candidates must be living in Los Angeles and able to commute to the Hollywood area 2x a week. 

General Job Responsibilities

Working cross functionally, you will develop and execute marketing, content and communication ideas.

Your key responsibilities will include partnering with creative leadership to tell powerful stories in a variety of formats, including developing multiple campaigns across a variety of platforms, concepting and executing on digital visuals, expanding brand books and style guides, developing presentation decks, asset creation and management, and sourcing imagery.

You will be challenged to concept against a range of timelines and strategies. From 24 hr quick turn content, to proactive long-term creative campaigns.

Requirements

Key Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years of experience, with a focus on digital and social campaigns
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a creative group to conceptualize, brainstorm, and deliver on new ideas 
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite including; Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma. Beginner skills or strong desire to learn additional tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Premiere and After Effects a bonus 
  • Some production and post-production experience including but not limited to social, digital, film or experiential
  • You demonstrate an "AI curious" mindset, and are comfortable and experienced in leveraging AI tools (including LLMs, image, video & music generations) and are excited to learn new ones. 
  • Social media and internet obsessed - you can spot and understand trends, participate or observe most platforms and have a digital-first mindset  
  • A developed eye for design, proficient in typography, layout, color, and other design principles
