AuditBoard is seeking a high-impact Player-Coach to spearhead our expansion across the APAC region. This is a unique "Founding Sales" leadership opportunity where you will be responsible for landing net-new logos while simultaneously building the regional infrastructure, team, and partner ecosystem from the ground up. You must be comfortable operating with high autonomy in an emerging market, effectively acting as the CEO of your territory within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Execution & Leadership: Act as a "Player-Coach," personally executing high-velocity deals to establish a market foothold while recruiting and enabling a high-intelligence, high-EQ sales team.
Strategic Growth: Drive regional customer acquisition with a focus on net-new logos, while identifying opportunities for cross-sell and upsell as the footprint matures.
Operational Excellence: Provide executive leadership for sales forecasting, territory assignments, and commission planning using a MEDDICC-based methodology.
Cross-Functional Advocacy: Serve as the primary voice of the APAC market, communicating regional needs to internal stakeholders in Operations, Sales Engineering, and Product to ensure local market-fit.
Ecosystem Building: Engage and build strategic relationships with regional Partners and Alliances to accelerate pipeline growth and market credibility.
Executive Presence: Lead complex pricing and contract negotiations with C-level prospects (typically CFOs), positioning AuditBoard’s end-to-end value proposition.
Qualifications
Founding Mentality: 7+ years of proven experience in a founding sales role or an early-stage, high-growth enterprise B2B SaaS environment.
Market Expansion Expertise: Proven track record of successfully navigating and growing an emerging geographic market (APAC experience highly preferred).
Leadership Breadth: Experience building a sales organization from scratch, including quota-carrying management and multi-product forecasting.
Strategic Sales Mastery: Expert-level understanding of value-based selling and MEDDICC, with a documented history of closing complex enterprise deals.
Relationship Intelligence: Exceptional EQ with the ability to build mutually beneficial partnerships at all levels, both internally and externally.
Grit & Autonomy: A self-motivated problem solver who thrives in "start-up" environments and can prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
