Architectural Sheet Metal Estimator / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing and architectural sheet metal projects in Des Moines, IA.
• Perform quantity take-offs from plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Analyze bid packages and develop accurate labor, material, and equipment budgets.
• Manage awarded projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing and/or architectural sheet metal estimating and project management.
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, flashing details, and architectural metal fabrication.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and subcontractor coordination.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
