We are currently looking for Arabic NLP Researcher to join our team based in our Huawei Turkey R&D Center.
Requirements
Qualifications;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Electronic Engineering or other related fields.
- NLP experience including but not limited to spelling correction, text classification, token classification (NER, PoS etc..)
- Experience with classical machine learning and deep learning as applied to NLP.
- Ability to design, train and debug models as opposed to just using existing pipelines.
- Experience with scikit-learn, and one of pytorch or tensorflow (excluding keras)
- Ability to read research papers and follow the literature
- Good python programmer
- Strong communication skills
- Arabic: native or fluent
- English: professional level
- Citizenship: Turkey
Useful to have:
- Turkish: professional level
- Previous experience with Arabic NLP.
- Previous NLP research experience (academic or industrial)
- Published papers in NLP
- Masters and/or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field, especially if thesis topic involves NLP
- Good at designing algorithms.
- Can code in Java, C/C++
