Join Aprio's Finance team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Cash Management Specialist to join their dynamic team.
The Cash Management Specialist is responsible for managing and reducing outstanding accounts receivable balances by contacting customers regarding overdue payments, negotiating repayment terms, and ensuring timely collection of receivables. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a focus on maintaining positive customer relationships while safeguarding company cash flow.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts.
Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect outstanding payments.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, billing disputes, and customer concerns.
Negotiate payment plans and settlements in accordance with company policies.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of collection activities in the system.
Collaborate with the billing, sales, and customer service teams to resolve issues.
Recommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write-offs when necessary.
Prepare and present collection status reports to management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable credit and collection laws.
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in client data management
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with CRM software is a plus
