We are now looking for a highly skilled Applications and Integration Support Engineer to join our global Central Technology Support team and take responsibility of key global applications including Intapp Open, 3E and Tagetik systems, ensuring escalation tickets are triaged, managed, and resolved to the highest possible standards within service level targets.
Key responsibilities
• Develop, support and maintain systems and ensure all relevant requirements surrounding it are fulfilled.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and detailed data flow specifications.
• Work closely with Global Applications Management team to ensure that all existing applications run efficiently and are consistently maintained, and all fixes and improvements are delivered in a timely and consistent fashion.
• Liaise with Regional Leads to ensure systems are operating in line with global principles and working with the most recent global requirements.
• Work with support teams and business analysts to ensure requirements are gathered and developed for relevant applications.
• Working with other team members in other geographies, provide multiple time zone support for critical production systems. As such, this role will require on-call availability in case of critical system downtime.
• Act as the key point of contact for system related questions coming from the business for applications in scope for the Central Technology Support service.
• Provide regular input as to developing technology trends on integration software solutions that are used in, or of interest to the firm.
Design, Strategy, and Planning
• Challenge the “status-quo” in support of Dentons technologies to establish innovative approaches to systems and service delivery. Think out of the box, and challenge others (vendors and team members) to do the same to come up with the best solutions and technical approaches.
• Be proactive while supporting services to ensure potential risks are mitigated in advance through careful planning and monitoring of systems and services.
• Ensure systems remain highly resilient to meet availability expectations of Dentons in accordance with defined business requirements.
Build, Test, Deploy
• Provide hands on leadership during the upgrade or updating of supported platforms and services.
• Develop integration templates, scripts, and processes to enable the optimized and consistent delivery of supported platforms.
• Manage and coordinate application vendors activities to ensure integrations between products continue to work seamlessly.
• Ensure integrations are monitored, maintained, documented and tested appropriately when deploying new scripts.
Operational Support
• Participate in the Global Change Control process to help manage change across the environment.
• Provide operational assistance and oversight in support of globally supported integration systems.
• Work with the operations team on ensuring integration systems are monitored, patched, and efficiently administered.
• Monitor, plan and deliver integration rule updates as needed with the support of the Global Operations team.
• Work with the Global Security Operations team with the security monitoring and response of security incidents for integration platforms.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Integration services across a broad spectrum of technologies.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with database systems across a broad spectrum of technologies.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Global applications across a broad spectrum of technologies.
• Essential expertise in Intapp Open (intake, conflicts).
• TR Elite 3E, SAP SuccessFactors, and understanding of law firm time and billing principles (desired).
• Experience with SQL Server environments on an Azure platform and on premises.
• Integration and data manipulation platforms:
o Intapp Integration Builder required
o Boomi, Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps, SAP CPI, Groovy Script desirable
• Knowledge of the technical aspects behind data extraction and integration, including database queries and REST API use.
• Solid understanding of global IT infrastructure and data design principles.
• Experience integrating and reconciling data from numerous sources.
• Ability to constantly re-evaluate parameters, thinking outside the box to solve complex data challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to drive a development from start to finish whilst delivering on time.
• Objective focused with a tenacious appetite to provide the highest level of service.
• Experience with large system implementations.
• Working within an Agile/DevOps Framework.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Able to work under pressure to tight project deadlines and can adapt to differing demands, prioritizing tasks where appropriate and ensuring complete 'follow through' on operational issues.
