We are now looking for an experienced z/OS Developer with strong technical skills and solid working experience to work in new challenging outsourced projects.

As a z/OS Developer, you will work as an expert across Banking Application implementation projects.

You will have the opportunity to work close to our clients, to understand their requirements and to translate them to technical specifications.

Your Day will Look like:

  • Participate in full software development lifecycle of an IT project.
  • Design client & server-side architectures.
  • Apply existing standards for programming, naming, security & performance and provide proper code documentation.
  • Write clean, scalable code.
  • Test and deploy applications and systems.
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
  • Improve existing software.
  • Document new and existing implementations.
  • Act as technical consultant for the client.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience of at least 1 year with COBOL in AS400 or z/OS mainframe operating systems
  • Proven experience as an Application Developer (back-end preferred)
  • Experience with relational databases such as DB2 (preferred) and SQL Server
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (both in Greek and English)
  • Fulfilled military services obligations (if applicable)
