Aravaipa Running is a leading events management company in the running industry, hosting over 60 events annually in five states. We have an in house apparel printing division specializing in custom designs for shirts, hats, and other garments that are provided with race entry or sold as add on merchandise online or in person. Our team also services several outside clients with their apparel needs. With a commitment to quality and creativity, we love when our apparel is out in the wild and being used. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Apparel Printing Crew member to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the apparel industry and eager to learn the ins and outs of garment printing.

Job Summary:

As an Entry-Level Shirt Printing Technician, you will play a crucial role in our production process, focusing on using heat press machines for sublimation and direct-to-garment printing. You will be responsible for preparing and printing custom designs on various garments, ensuring each piece meets our high-quality standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heat press machines for sublimation and direct-to-film (DTF) printing.
• Prepare garments and materials for printing, including any pre-treatment processes.
• Accurately align and place designs on shirts, hats, and other apparel.
• Adjust machine settings for different types of fabrics and designs.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to troubleshoot any issues.
• Keep track of inventory and supplies, notifying the manager when restocking is needed.
• Assist in packaging and preparing products for shipment or delivery.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in garment printing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a printing or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic understanding of design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
