API & AI Plugins Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled API & AI Plugins Integration Engineer with a strong background in software engineering, DevOps and API‑driven systems. In this role, you will design and implement plugins and integrations that connect our API platforms to external partner ecosystems and developer tools. You will work on API plugins and SDKs for cloud partner portals (e.g. AWS Partner Portal / Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, Azure Partner Center), enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, Cognigy, Twilio and similar) and AI‑driven tools and chat‑based assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Groq, Mistral and other leading AI platforms.

You will collaborate closely with Cloud SREs, Software teams, Product, Security and partner ecosystem teams to ensure integrations are secure, reliable and aligned with our API standards, while enabling easy onboarding and self‑service for partners and developers.

Key responsibilities

  • Take Design, implement and maintain API plugins and SDKs that integrate our APIs with external partner platforms and developer ecosystems.
  • Build connectors and integration modules for cloud partner portals (e.g. AWS Partner Portal / Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, Azure Partner Center) and enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, Cognigy, Twilio).
  • Develop plugin‑style extensions for AI‑driven assistants and platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Groq, Mistral and others), enabling API exposure and orchestration through conversational and copilot‑style experiences.
  • Ensure consistent integration patterns across plugins: authentication, error handling, logging, telemetry and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Cloud SRE teams to integrate and operate the plugins and connectors in production environments.
  • Work closely with Security and Identity teams to enforce secure access patterns (OAuth2, OIDC, API keys, SSO) for all partner integrations.
  • Partner with Product and Platform teams to define integration blueprints and streamline onboarding via portals and marketplaces.
  • Support partner onboarding flows for cloud and SaaS ecosystems, including technical integration and listing requirements.
  • Contribute to developer experience improvements — including examples, templates and documentation for SDKs and plugins.
  • Ensure observability, monitoring and alerting are integrated into all plugins and connectors.
  • Stay ahead of trends in cloud marketplaces, conversational AI and integration platforms and propose new integrations to the roadmap.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps or integration engineering roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Node.js or Java.
  • Experience building API clients, SDKs or middleware integrations with external platforms.
  • Deep understanding of REST and gRPC APIs, authentication and authorization (OAuth2, OIDC, API keys) and webhooks.
  • Familiarity with cloud partner portals (e.g., AWS Partner Portal / Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, Azure Partner Center) and enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Cognigy, Twilio and similar).
  • Exposure to AI‑driven tools and chat‑based assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Groq, Mistral) and plugin‑style or tool integrations.
  • Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, git‑based workflows and Infrastructure‑as‑Code concepts.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and documentation skills for working with cross‑functional and global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized integration patterns.
  • Background in building or maintaining marketplace‑compatible listings or partner‑portal integrations.
  • Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) for monitoring integrations.
  • Experience designing developer‑facing tooling, CLI tools or automation scripts.
  • Interest in AI‑driven APIs, MCP‑style integrations or context‑aware conversational experiences.
