THE ROLE:
As an APEX Developer, you will support the development and customization of Salesforce platform solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and related technologies. You will work closely with senior Salesforce developers and administrators to implement scalable business logic, integrations, and automation features. This role focuses on building foundational Salesforce development skills, contributing to high-quality code delivery, and gaining hands-on experience across the Salesforce ecosystem.
Security Clearance Required
Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. persons and eligible for a U/S. security clearance
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Assist in developing Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, flows, and automation tools.
Support system configuration, customization, and integration efforts within Salesforce environments.
Participate in the design, documentation, and review of Salesforce data models, component architectures, and UI experiences.
Learn and follow Salesforce development best practices, including security patterns, governor limits, testing standards, and code optimization techniques.
Contribute to code reviews and unit testing, ensuring maintainable, efficient, and compliant code.
Maintain and update sandbox environments, metadata, and configuration changes.
Document development processes, setup steps, and technical changes to support maintainability.
Participate in Agile team meetings, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical discussions.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
US Citizenship - requirements of our US Government customers
Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD Security Clearance - Public Trust
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience).
2+ years in an APEX, Salesforce, or Software Engineering Environment
Proficiency in programming fundamentals (Java, C#, or similar OOP language strongly preferred).
Foundational understanding of Salesforce development concepts or desire to learn Apex, SOQL, LWC, and platform automation.
Strong desire to grow within the Salesforce ecosystem (Trailhead progress or Salesforce certification is a plus).
Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to write original code and creatively solve problems, not just maintain existing scripts.
