Denova is expanding its finance consulting team and is looking for an Accounting Operations Specialist (AP Associate) to support Accounts Payable operations for a global client, including vendor payments, expenses and month‑end close activities

This role is open exclusively to candidates residing in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day‑to‑day Accounts Payable operations, including vendor invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier query resolution

  • Review and process employee expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate coding

  • Perform month‑end close activities, including preparation of accruals and account reconciliations

  • Monitor invoice aging and resolve discrepancies

  • Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations related to AP transactions

  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, requirements and accounting policies

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within Workday

  • Partner with Finance and Operations teams to resolve discrepancies and support continuous process improvements

  • Create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field – mandatory

  • Minimum 4+ years of International Accounts Payable or Accounting Operations experience – mandatory

  • Hands-on experience using Workday Financial Management, specifically AP and Expenses – mandatory

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) – mandatory

  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, month-end close, accruals and reconciliations.

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience supporting global or shared services environments is a strong plus.
