Casual Animal Attendant – Gladesville Veterinary Hospital

Gladesville Veterinary Hospital is looking for a caring, reliable Casual Animal Attendant to join our supportive team. This is a great role for someone who loves animals, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in a busy hospital environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide daily care for patients and boarding animals

• Assist with feeding, cleaning, exercising and general husbandry

• Keep animal housing, hospital areas and equipment clean and organised

• Support the nursing and veterinary teams with basic tasks

• Maintain a safe, hygienic and low-stress environment for all animals

About You:

• Previous animal handling or kennel attendant experience is ideal

• Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments

• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently

• Good communication skills and a positive team attitude

• Willing to work weekends, public holidays or varied shifts as needed
