About the Role As an Android Engineer Intern, you’ll collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and ship features that impact millions of users. You’ll work within a highly collaborative, technical environment focused on improving architecture, exploring new technologies, and delivering a world-class app experience. What you'll do:
  • Assist with developing and testing new features for the Tinder Android app.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to improve the user experience.
  • Learn how to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Contribute to team discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Tinder’s UI platform and design system infrastructure.
  • What we're looking for:
  • Interest in Android development and learning how large mobile apps are built.
  • Basic programming experience in Kotlin.
  • Understanding of data structures and algorithms from coursework or personal projects.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
