Android Developer

On behalf of our client, a Start-Up innovator in the fast-growing online entertainment industry, we are currently looking for a self-driven Android Developer, to join its software development team.

A day in the life of an Android Developer

You will be an expert in mobile development and able to demonstrate a good knowledge of web programming languages. You must be driven, hard-working and passionate about developing web and mobile apps. You are committed to producing high quality code and delivering to deadlines. Good communication skills are a must and a good sense of humor a bonus!

Your day-to-day

• With your know-how you drive the conceptual development of the company's app and implement intuitive mobile features that inspire our customers, whether B2B or B2C
• As part of an agile team, you take responsibility for a timely, pragmatic, and error-free processing of work packages and drive the end-to-end implementation of complex user stories into performant applications
• An interdisciplinary collaboration with the company's CTO, product management team and UI/UX designers ensures your exposure to new, inspiring facets of our industry and business, allowing you to impact the overarching corporate strategy
• You ensure a best-in-class customer experience by running comprehensive quality assurance checks (e.g., code reviews, pair programming and automated tests)

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or any related field
• Expertise working with Kotlin
• Ideally you already have published your own apps or GitHub projects
• You are knowledgeable about software architecture and APIs
• You manage to solve practical challenges through technical features and enjoy designing user-friendly state-of-the-art features
