Independent practices are the cornerstone of healthcare in the US, providing better community access and a lower cost of care. We are on the mission to help independent practices grow and thrive, which will drive better and lower cost care for patients across the US.
You will be joining at the ground floor- alongside two co-founders with deep expertise in healthcare and fintech and a CTO who has had successful fintech exits. We have seed financing from elite VCs and angels with a deep expertise in healthcare and fintech. By joining at the very beginning you can help define the business , while being fully capitalized to really get this going. The Role
As our most senior individual contributor, you will be a critical pillar of the business as we build Anatomy; not only the product, but also the company. Since we’re early, we are looking for an engineer excited about a wide range of work dealing with a variety of technical problems at all levels of our technology stack.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement the core technology that powers our product
- Collaborate with the CTO and founding team to understand business needs and develop a technical roadmap.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of the product.
- Help develop a strong engineering culture and high quality development and testing practices.
- Define, implement and evolve technical architecture.
- Drive key projects across development, quality, infrastructure and data engineering.

Qualifications
- Experience working in or starting an early stage hyper growth startup. You’ve built a scalable product from scratch before and iterated along the way.
- Expertise in Python and React
- Infrastructure experience with AWS and Terraform
- Success at building systems that are scalable, easy to understand, and maintainable
- Bonus: Deep expertise in healthcare data or fintech API integrations.
- Bonus: Data engineering expertise
