Analytics Engineer

About the Role 

We are seeking a tech-savvy Analytics Engineer to help us bridge the gap between raw data and business logic. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our data transformations, ensuring our stakeholders have access to high-quality, modeled data. You will work within a modern data stack, moving away from manual reporting toward automated, version-controlled analytics engineering.

Responsibilities 

• Data Modeling: Design and build modular, performant data models using dbt and SQL to create a reliable "Single Source of Truth."
• Orchestration: Support the scheduling and monitoring of pipelines using Airflow, ensuring high availability and data reliability.
• Best Practices: Maintain code integrity using Git for version control, performing code reviews, and documenting data assets.
• Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with the stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or a similar role with a strong technical tilt.

• Proficiency in scripting with SQL, extracting large sets of data, and design of ELT flows.
• Hands-on experience with a collaborative version control system.
• Ability to embrace new technologies, applications and solutions, actively pursue professional growth.
• Ability to explain technical data structures to non-technical partners clearly and effectively.
• A desire to take ownership of projects and master data modeling, pipelines and orchestration.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
• Structured way of thinking with attention to detail.

Nice to Have 

• BSc/MSc in a Quantitative Field: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• Exposure to the modern Data Stack (sql, databases, snowflake, dbt, airflow).
• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or similar.
• Knowledge of Python or R.
