Who you are
We are looking to welcome to our team an experienced Engagement Manager/Director with deep expertise in data analytics and particular focus on operations & manufacturing. An ideal candidate operates at an engagement manager or project leader level at a leading consulting firm, has demonstrated a track record of delivering exceptional client outcomes on the toughest analytics oriented projects, and has substantial subject matter expertise in manufacturing and/or operations. An additional preference would be given to candidates with expertise with proven experience in leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize manufacturing plant processes, equipment, and operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent attention to detail, collaboration, communication and organizational skills, paired with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, projects, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable analytics solutions.
- Collaborate and provide expert guidance to the analytics team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure the alignment of analytics projects with business value.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, prioritize actions, and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and customers, effectively communicating complex data insights.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and apply them to improve our software
- Work with customers to gather software requests and prioritize backlog with product teams
- Do hands-on analytics work when needed to achieve project success (“analyst” to “partner” skillset and attitude)
Position Details:
- Compensation: Competitive base salary, short-term incentive (annual bonus) and long-term incentive (long-term upside)
- Travel: 0-50% (with significant international travel component)

Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of intensive experience in a customer-facing consulting role at a leading consulting firm
- Demonstrated experience as an Engagement Manager, Project Leader, or equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics and/or artificial intelligence, across professional and academic settings
- Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale analytics projects with diverse teams
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder and customer relationships
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, projects, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Prior experience using data analytics software and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and/or Tableau
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience working at an MBB Firm
- Direct experience deploying advanced data analytics and/or AI approaches in the domain of manufacturing plant processes, equipment, and operations
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling techniques, and generative AI approaches
- Familiarity with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
- Familiarity with tire manufacturing processes, equipment, and operations
