The Role: We’re seeking a hands-on Analytics Contractor with deep GA4 expertise to support active client engagements. In this contract role, you’ll independently manage analytics across multiple clients — investigating data quality issues, building Looker Studio dashboards, implementing tracking configurations via Google Tag Manager, and proactively identifying and solving measurement challenges.
As a contractor, you’ll partner closely with SEO, Paid Media, Strategy, and Agency Ops teams to ensure accurate, reliable measurement across accounts. You may also contribute to internal tooling, documentation, or innovation efforts that improve scalability within the Analytics practice.
Role Highlights
Independently manage analytics strategy and execution across multiple client accounts, ensuring measurement frameworks align with business objectives
Build and refine GA4 explorations, segments, custom channel groupings, and funnel analyses to answer complex performance questions
Diagnose data discrepancies and investigate tracking anomalies across GA4 and advertising platforms, identifying root causes and recommending solutions
Implement, configure, and QA tracking setups via Google Tag Manager, ensuring accurate event tracking and conversion measurement
Identify, quantify, and mitigate data quality issues — including bot traffic, spam, and filtering inconsistencies — to maintain clean, defensible reporting
Design and optimize client-facing dashboards in Looker Studio, tying metrics directly to KPIs and ensuring reporting accuracy prior to delivery
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, Paid Media, Strategy, and Agency Ops teams to align measurement strategy with campaign execution
Contribute to internal process improvements, documentation, monitoring systems, or automation initiatives that improve scalability across accounts
Essential Skills
3–5 years of hands-on GA4 or digital analytics experience, ideally in an agency environment
Deep expertise in GA4 explorations, event validation, and measurement configuration
Strong troubleshooting capabilities across GA4 and Google Tag Manager
Experience identifying and resolving tracking discrepancies across platforms
Strong understanding of data quality, filtering logic, and bot traffic mitigation
Experience building client-ready dashboards in Looker Studio (experience with NinjaCat or BigQuery is a plus)
Ability to manage multiple clients and shifting priorities with minimal oversight
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort in client-facing conversations
Proactive mindset with a natural curiosity for identifying measurement gaps
Strong Differentiator: Knowledge of GEO/AI traffic patterns and emerging AI-driven search behavior.
