Who is Basemakers?
Basemakers is one of the most trusted retail sales management companies in the food and beverage industry. After hitting the INC 500/5000 list of the fastest growing privately-held companies in America five consecutive times (as of 2025), we’re expanding our sales services (and most recently, our technology) to continue our growth. At the heart of our success is our unwavering belief in the transformative power of relationships—this is the ethos that propels us forward. We are not just a company; we are a dynamic force for change, partnering with trailblazing brands like Olipop, Guayaki (Yerba Madre), Nixie, C20 Coconut Water, and Honey Stinger. These partnerships help turn innovative products into household names. Our approach goes beyond retail sales and merchandising; we forge deep connections with brands, communities, and individuals who are driven to make a meaningful impact. Join Basemakers, and be part of a team that’s reshaping the world of CPG, one relationship at a time.

The Opportunity
If we didn't already have this job, we would apply for it ourselves! This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth company right at the inflection point of a major strategic transformation. We are making a massive investment to rebuild our service offering around Data, AI, and Automation—and we need a builder to help us execute it.
You will report directly to the Data & Tech Lead, acting as their right hand in architecting and building key parts of an "internal operating system" that our Brand Partners and Field Teams will rely on every day. You won't just be maintaining databases, you will be building full stack data applications and ETL pipelines connecting our SaaS tools (Salesforce, Notion, Repsly), into a unified, AI-first internal intelligence layer.
This role sits at the intersection of Analytics Engineering and Process Automation. You are an ideal fit if you have strong technical chops (SQL/Python) but care more about solving the business problem than optimizing server configurations. We welcome candidates from non-traditional backgrounds—if you’ve been a Technical PM, a Systems Architect, or a RevOps lead who learned to code to get things done, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Build (The Projects)
You won't just be writing SQL queries; you'll be building full-stack data applications and agentic workflows.
