The Role:

As an Analytical Engineer at Flowie, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing millions of events to generate valuable business and sales insights. Your work will enable data-driven decision-making for both our customers and our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Data Management:
   • Develop and maintain scalable data models to support the processing and analysis of millions of events.
   • Implement efficient data integration pipelines to ensure data quality and consistency.
2. Business and Sales Insights:
   • Perform detailed data analysis to generate actionable business and sales insights.
   • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into key metrics for customers and the sales team.
3. Customer and Sales Team Collaboration:
   • Work closely with customers and the sales team to understand their data needs and requirements.
   • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions that drive sales and customer engagement.
4. Performance Optimization:
   • Optimize data queries and processes for performance and efficiency.
   • Implement best practices for data management and analysis to handle large-scale event data.
5. Innovation and Best Practices:
   • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data analytics and event processing.
   • Propose innovative solutions to improve data analysis, reporting, and the generation of business insights.
6. Documentation and Training:
   • Document data models, processes, and analysis methodologies.
   • Provide training and support to end-users on data tools and best practices..

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Analytical Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on managing and analyzing large-scale event data.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehousing solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
