Role Summary

The Junior Technical Architect supports the design, development, and implementation of enterprise technology solutions. This role works closely with senior architects and product managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures, focusing on hands-on solutioning and technical documentation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing solution architectures for web and cloud applications.
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical process flows and architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Participate in technical roadmap and backlog preparation, providing input on implementation approaches.
  • Troubleshoot integration and interoperability issues across systems.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, including requirements, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  • Support incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Review and prioritize defects impacting customers.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud, DevOps, and software engineering.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years in software engineering or technical analyst roles.
  • Exposure to solution architecture, preferably in enterprise or franchise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (Amazon Web Services) for deployment, monitoring, and security.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL for database management and query optimization.
  • Experience with SQL Server for centralized data storage and performance tuning.
  • Development skills in Java for web applications and APIs, with knowledge of frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and TypeScript for front-end development.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated deployments.
  • Use of version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative code management.
  • Ability to document and diagram technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong cmmunication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with Agile development practices.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with architecting and deploying cloud-native solutions.
  • Technical certifications in cloud or architecture (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect).
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
