The Role

We’re seeking a Programs Analyst to execute on Metaculus’ work for clients and partners. This person will work closely with the Programs team to support client and partner work from conception through delivery. They’ll develop project plans and forecasting questions, and synthesize results from the forecasting processes into reports and deliverables. This person will also engage with prospective clients and partners, strengthen Metaculus’s positioning and client-facing materials, grow interest through outreach and relationship-building, and produce content and written materials to expand Metaculus’ reach. They’ll also collaborate with the product team to translate client needs into platform enhancements.

This role is suited for someone who’s energized by project delivery work, and who feels comfortable interfacing with prospective clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all areas of client and partner work, from conception to delivery
• Support with developing client proposals and advancing our client pipeline
• Provide regular reports to Forecasting Program Coordinator on project status, progress, and expected timelines
• Strengthen Metaculus’ client-facing materials
• Grow interest in Metaculus services through outreach and relationship-building
• Collaborate with the product team to translate client needs into platform enhancements and hone software products
• Develop forecasting questions for Metaculus tournaments and projects, support platform moderation and oversight, and aid with platform announcements and operations
• Produce content and written materials to expand Metaculus’ reach and improve our position among providers of strategic foresight services
• Those interested may have opportunities to design and facilitate workshops for clients and partners

Location

This is a fully remote position. We welcome applicants from all time zones. However, given the location of existing team members who will collaborate closely with this position, our preference is to fill this role with a candidate with consistent availability for collaboration between 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM PST (4:30 PM to 8:30 PM GMT).

Requirements

• Excellent ability to develop clear and compelling project deliverables
• Proven ability to efficiently manage projects from start to finish
• Comfortable engaging with clients and partners, whether corporations, governments, or NGOs, and building relationships through networking and outreach
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are consistently met
• Excellent skill in designing projects and producing written content that both meet the needs of existing clients and effectively communicate value to attract new ones

Benefits

• Annual salary range of $90,000 - $140,000 USD, depending on experience.
• Note: We expect that most finalist candidates would receive offers in the bottom half of this range, but we may extend offers in the upper half to candidates with significant experience and who are an exceptionally good fit for the role.
