The Analyst, Project Control is responsible for managing financial and operational aspects of projects, ensuring they stay within budget, and providing accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Project Control and Reporting:
• Financial Management: Oversee the financial planning and management of specific projects, including creating budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies. • Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly project financial statements and reports, providing insights on project performance and profitability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial information, assisting in decision-making processes.
• Cash flow forecasting and project invoicing: Prepare project cash flow analysis and manage project billing. Monitor vendor payments and subcontractor billings as necessary.
• Cost Control: Monitor project costs, investigate variances, and implement cost containment measures to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Audit Support: Assist in the annual external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and compliant with standards.

• Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Process & Controls
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
Budgeting & Forecasting
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process with accurate financial data. • Provide management with timely variance analysis and actionable insights.
Compliance & Audit
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual financial statement.
• Maintain compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Oracle NetSuite experience preferred.
• Experience with construction/engineering/project management accounting (Percentage of Completion) preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
