The role:
At SoFi Home Loans, we’re reimagining how people achieve homeownership through thoughtful partnerships, disciplined execution, and member-first decision making. We’re looking for an energetic and founder-mentality professional to support supplier engagement and operational decision-making across our Home Loans business.
This role sits within HL Operations and plays a critical role in managing supplier relationships, achieving financial discipline, and driving cross-functional execution for all of Home Loans; and, directly impacts revenue, scalability, and the member experience.
What you’ll do:
- Champion a high-performing, $70M supplier ecosystem for SoFi Home Loans; architect end-to-end strategy alignment between suppliers and business goals; proactively optimize performance, maximize ROI and deliver operational excellence.
- Engage, influence, and coordinate with a wide range of internal and external partners to support initiatives that drive revenue growth and improve the member experience. Internal partners include Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Credit Risk, Compliance, and Marketing. External partners include other SoFi Business Units and strategic external partnerships.
- Maintain and enhance Home Loans’ expense management and forecasting, providing clear visibility into supplier spend, trends, and opportunities for optimization
- As part of supplier evaluation and onboarding, gather business requirements, translate those requirements into executable plans, and support a seamless transition from supplier evaluation and onboarding to implementation of major cross functional projects.
- Creatively identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operating rhythms that increase efficiency, scalability, and accountability across supplier operations

- Suppliers are well-managed, performance is transparent, and spend is disciplined and communicated

- Operational decisions are clearly tied to business strategy and member impact
- Processes scale cleanly as the Home Loans business grows
What you’ll need:
- Experience in lending, corporate banking, or financial services, with exposure to operations, supplier management, business development, and/or financial management
- Experience in management consulting, financial consulting, or a highly analytical role preferred
- Proven ability to influence without authority and work effectively and creatively across functions in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or advanced certifications a plus (MBA, MPA, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in process optimization and/or operational improvement
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities, ambiguous problems, and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect financial data, operational decisions, and strategic outcomes; experience with financial modeling a plus
Nice to have:
- Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities
- Experience building financial projection models
- Deep project management experience
- Process improvement and optimization background
- Experience with RFPs, RFIs, and supplier negotiations
- Strong understanding of finance and lending
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
