Requirements

Responsibilities –

• Must have good understanding and experience in designing and developing automated testing strategies and design/build automated testing frameworks.
• Select appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation, e.g., data-driven testing.
• Knowledge to develop/execute automated test scripts.
• Must have good experience in setting up the automation development environment.
• Must have hands on experience working with the development team to capture and reuse automated unit test cases, test stubs and drivers, and other development test objects.
• Responsible in developing the test plan, test scenarios, test cases and test data needs.
• Knowledge to execute test cases in different test environments (Functional Test, System Integration Test) and smoke testing different builds in all target environments.
• Good to have experience with Web Services testing using SOAP UI/SOA test/JUnit.
• Actively participated in analyzing and verifying best automated and manual test approaches.
• Actively participated in various testing stages during development/deployment and production release.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java/Python.
• Good to have knowledge/hand on database queries.
• Good to have knowledge/hands on experience on Agile Methodology.
• Efficient test data identification and data generation for optimal coverage.
• Understanding of defect tracking and test management software.
• Participate in complete STLC life-cycle activities including test execution.
• Good to have experience in Automating API testing based on project needs.
• Good to have experience working closely with Business Analyst during the initial stages of project requirement and design.
• Good to have knowledge on automated validation of data quality, data loads and integration to improve test effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Some level of experience in stakeholder communication and status reporting.
• Experience in onsite / offshore model.
• Good knowledge on different frameworks used for automation testing.
• Good to have knowledge on CI/CD.
• Knowledge on RPA tools is a plus.
• Good to have experience developing connectors (integration pipelines, micro-services, etc.).

Education and Experience Required-

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science or relevant experience

• At least 2 years’ experience in Test Automation using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, HP Mercury, QuickTest Pro, Rational Functional Tester, Worksoft Certify, Parasoft SOA, etc.

• Testing/Automation certification is highly desired
