About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing and passionate Analyst/Associate to join our Strategy & Corporate Development team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and support the company’s long-term growth through business and corporate development activities. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting market and competitive research, identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, building financial models and business cases, supporting partnerships and M&A execution, and preparing materials for senior leadership, investors, and the Board. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for autonomous vehicles and AI.
Key Responsibilities
Work with WeRide leadership to define and advance critical initiatives
Assist in all aspects of the business and corporate development process including sourcing and qualification of opportunities, market research, competitive analysis, due diligence, and deal execution
Collaborate cross-functionally to align business and corporate development activities with organizational priorities
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, management consulting or a similar field; Focus on technology or AI-related industries is a plus
Excellent financial modeling and analytical capabilities
Excellent business sense and ability to understand and resolve complex business issues
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
