At Insider, as a Financial Analyst, you will be an essential contributor to the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and innovation in our processes. Your responsibilities will include:
Playing a pivotal role in monthly revenue and commission close procedures, including preparing journal entries, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring compliance.
Collaborating with multiple departments to gather transaction information, investigate reconciling items, and address discrepancies.
Managing account balances by reconciling, researching, and resolving discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.
Overseeing the invoicing process, including issuing invoices via municipal platforms or NetSuite and understanding taxation—how taxes are calculated based on revenue and the different types of taxes.
Managing accounts payable, maintaining close relationships with the accounting team, and coordinating payment schedules.
Handling accounts receivable, including the collection process, issuing formal protests for overdue invoices, and ensuring cash flow consistency.
Conducting bank reconciliations to validate payments and outstanding balances.
Developing and implementing financial policies when necessary to support the team and improve efficiency.
We want to hear from you if you;
Hold or is finishing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, or a related field.
Are a fast learner with a proactive, dynamic, and self-directed approach.
Have up to 2 years of experience in similar roles or are a new graduate eager to learn.
Are detail-oriented and highly organized.
Have a good understanding of how invoicing works, including processes through platforms like municipal systems or NetSuite.
Understand taxation concepts, such as revenue-based tax calculations and tax types.
Are familiar with SaaS companies (a plus).
Have experience with accounting software, and advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
Possess advanced English proficiency (you will use it daily, and we will also have interviews in English)
Enjoy working in a multicultural environment and can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, startup environment.
