Accountabilities
Maintain balance of overall supply/demand requirements for their portfolio (3-27 months horizon) as well aligning and supporting asset planners in the short-term horizon (0-3 months horizon). Challenging commercial units (receiving countries) and third party demands, sales fore-casts & demand uncertainty as the owner accountable for the full 27 months horizon.
Plan all products within their portfolio according to Global and AMEA Planning processes and policies. Manage the monthly Requirements & Operations Planning (ROP) meeting with the Production sites for assigned portfolio,
Work in partnership with Supply Chain managers, Global planners, Asset planners and Demand Managers to ensure the optimization of demand/supply as well inventory throughout the regional supply chain (AI, raw materials, bulk and finished products), managing the trade-off between Customer service, Inventory investment and Production efficiency
Review requirements in SAP/APO for assigned portfolio/AIs and ensure that it is up to date. Follow up with IMCs on purchase orders/ production orders for finished packs/ Intermediate; place Tolling POs to Toller according to production plan and/or against demand POs.
Review of SAP/APO master data with country planners periodically and ensure timely update of changes, including efficient introduction and removal of products (SKUs) according to the Range Management Process.
Act as SME (System and process) for assigned planning process for AMEA
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Critical knowledge & experience
· At least 2-5 years exposure in a Supply Chain and/or Planning environment
· Experience of the key interfaces within a Supply Chain
· Planning parameters, master data management and data integrity
· Understanding of supply chain planning MRPII principles
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Customer Focus and attention to detail
· SAP, APO & BW knowledge
· Good Team Player
