Description

Job Title: Amazon Operations Specialist/Generalist

Location: Remote

Reports To: CEO

Work Shift: PST

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-Time)

Job Description:

We are seeking a capable and resourceful Amazon Logistics & International Inventory Manager to support the execution of logistics and inventory coordination across key international markets, including Canada, UK, and the EU. The ideal candidate is an execution-focused professional with strong Amazon FBA experience (outside the U.S.), logistics coordination knowledge, and the ability to make informed recommendations about stock movement based on real-time data.

This is not a strategic planning role, nor does it require WMS implementation or listing management. Instead, the focus is on running already-established logistics workflows, monitoring inventory dashboards, and working with existing Amazon systems and partners. Candidates should have experience working with Amazon accounts generating $7M+ in annual revenue and should be able to quantify the scale of the markets or accounts they’ve supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Amazon Fulfillment & Inventory Oversight:

  • Manage backend operations across Amazon USA, Canada, UK, and EU, focusing on fulfillment coordination and stock availability.
  • Track and interpret Amazon’s restock reports and inventory health metrics across international regions.
  • Make data-driven recommendations on when and how much inventory to send to each region.
  • Suggest optimal container loads and shipment timing (e.g., "It makes sense to ship a 20ft container to Europe now").

International Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate cross-border shipments (e.g., container movements from India to the UK/EU) in collaboration with freight and 3PL providers.
  • Leverage Amazon's third-party logistics and VAT registration partners to execute international onboarding processes already in place.
  • Ensure timely movement of inventory to the appropriate markets while maintaining customs compliance and cost efficiency.

Tool Use & Reporting:

  • Use Amazon’s built-in dashboards, Google Sheets, and existing SOPs to track and manage inventory status across global regions.
  • No requirement to build systems or develop WMS platforms—just the ability to work effectively within established tools.
  • Must be able to interpret and act on Amazon restock dashboards and use basic spreadsheets (Google Sheets) for stock tracking.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon FBA backend logistics (with emphasis on Canada, UK, and EU).
  • Has worked on Amazon accounts or companies generating at least $7M+ in annual revenue.
  • Working knowledge of international fulfillment, cross-border shipping, and customs processes.
  • Ability to analyze stock coverage (e.g., days on hand) and suggest replenishment movements based on marketplace reports.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills; can manage execution independently without micro-management.
  • Comfortable working with lean teams; must thrive in a fast-paced, resource-efficient environment.
  • Quick learner with a proactive mindset; experience with Amazon’s global logistics systems is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with tools like SkuVault or Notion.
  • Exposure to other marketplaces (e.g., Wayfair, Shopify, Home Depot) is a plus but not part of core responsibilities.
