About the Job

The Amazon Marketing Manager will develop, implement, and analyze the most effective online marketing strategies through product detail page and storefront execution, digital merchandising, and content specific to the brand. The manager will also oversee optimizing digital marketing campaigns, including PPC, coupons and discounts, video, display advertising, and insightful reporting. This role merges strategic planning, client communication, creative thinking, and operational organization to enhance Amazon's brand performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Amazon business operations, including inventory, performance updates, and customer messages.
  • Develop and optimize PDP content, A+ content, storefronts, and SEO strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze competitors, performance data, and industry trends to drive profitable growth.
  • Manage advertising campaigns and promotional strategies, ensuring advertising spend remains profitable and aligns with sales and gross margin goals.
  • Troubleshoot Amazon issues, including account and listing challenges, while staying updated on best practices and policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive branding and seamless operations.
  • Identify opportunities for new product launches and enhanced customer engagement on the Amazon platform.

Qualifications

  • Amazon Expertise - At least 2+ years of proven success with Amazon Seller or Vendor Central, including hands-on experience driving sales and improving account performance.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge - Strong working knowledge of SEO/SEM related to Amazon account management, plus experience with Amazon’s advertising platform (PPC).
  • Amazon Platform Knowledge – Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge of the latest Amazon trends, policies, and best practices.

Skills

  • Strong relationship-building and communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in creating online marketing campaigns
  • Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools, capable of interpreting complex metrics to inform decision-making

Education

A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Perks 

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 plus annual bonus when targets are achieved
  • Hybrid schedule, expected to be in office three days/week (Milford, CT)
