Mock Interviews:

AlphaSights is hosting mock interviews exclusively for Exeter Business and Finance members. Participants will meet one-on-one with a member of AlphaSights’ Talent Acquisition team on campus for a 20-minute mock interview designed to mirror the Client Service placement recruitment process. This session will be especially valuable for students interested in placements in project management, account management, or other commercial roles.

Date: Monday, 9th February

Time: You will receive an individual 20-minute time slot between 1 pm and 3 pm 

Location: University of Exeter Campus - Location TBC

Learning Objectives:

This skills session will be a helpful foundation in learning: 

• Practice communicating how your skills and competencies make you a good fit for the role. 
• Reflections on why the position you have applied for is the best fit for you at this stage in your career.
• Receive personalised feedback from a member of the Talent Acquisition Team.  

• This event is aimed at students in their second year of university, seeking a 12-month industrial placement and therefore graduating in 2028. 
• Due to a limited number of spaces, we kindly ask you to sign up by 5 pm on Monday, 2nd of February 2026.
