We are responsible for operating, managing, and upgrading 14 Regional Airports in some of Greece's most attractive destinations! And soon, the Kalamata Airport will also be operated by Fraport Greece. We are currently seeking to fill the role of “Airport Administrator" at the aforementioned airport.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations and administration of the airport activities to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused services in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders (service providers, various Departments at the HQ, etc). The role holder acts as the liaison between the Airport Manager (to whom the role reports), staff, and external stakeholders, contributing to the smooth operation of the airport's administrative functions.

The role is located in our premises at Kalamata (KLX) Airport.  

Requirements

What will you be doing?

  • Handle documents, invoices, airport cash payments, and Capital Expenditure in SAP/ECM, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and other logistical needs for the administrative office.
  • Hold overall responsibility for handling the Zendesk portal, in cooperation with the HQ’s Airport Services & Customer Experience Department.
  • Schedule and manage appointments and meetings, organize airport events, welcome and sign in guests and visitors.
  • Prepare payroll input for the Airport’s employees.  
  • Handle HR documentation with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communication (emails, letters, calls) on behalf of the Airport Manager.
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Airport Manager.
  • Act as the focal point for the Airport’s employees on HR-related topics (employment Contracts, leaves, etc), cooperating with the HR Department at the HQ.
  • Liaise with HQ and other Departments to ensure coordination of administrative functions.
  • Ensure readiness for internal and external Audits and Inspections, maintaining accurate and compliant records.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports regarding the Airport’s personnel and other Airport procedures (PRM Portal, Spillages, etc).

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School or Vocational Upper Secondary School Diploma. A bachelor’s degree would be considered an asset.
  • A minimum of five years in a similar or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in reporting and SAP will be highly appreciated.
  • Advanced level in MS Office.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
  • Fulfilled military obligations, if applicable.
