AI System Architect

We are seeking an experienced System Architect to join our growing technology team in Thailand. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and overseeing scalable and secure system architectures that support our business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to align system design with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Architecture: Define, design, and document end-to-end AI architecture solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Technology Strategy: Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new technologies, frameworks, and tools aligned with business and technical needs.
• Collaboration: Partner with clients, product managers, developers, DevOps and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Standards & Governance: Establish and enforce best practices, architectural principles, coding standards, and security policies.
• Scalability & Performance: Ensure systems are designed for high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance under varying workloads.
• Mentorship: Guide development teams in implementing architectural designs and provide technical leadership.
• Documentation: Produce clear system documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot architectural challenges, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues across complex systems.

• Client Relationship Management
  Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospective clients:
  - Build trust and credibility through deep technical expertise and solution knowledge
  - Address technical concerns and objections during the sales process
  - Facilitate technical workshops and solution validation sessions
  - Support contract negotiations with technical insights and recommendations

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience: 5+ years in software/system design, with at least 2 years in an architecture role or experience related.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, microservices, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., NestJS, Ruby on Rails).
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL & NoSQL), caching, and messaging queues.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Security & Compliance: Familiarity with system security practices, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and critical thinking with attention to detail.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business needs.
• Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
• Experience with large-scale enterprise systems or high-traffic platforms.
• Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
• Thai language proficiency (for local team collaboration) and good English communication skills.
