AI Research Scientist (3D Reconstruction)

Yembo’s AI Team is hiring an AI Research Scientist with a strong background in geometric and deep learning methods for 3D reconstruction. In this role, you will prototype and develop solutions for 3D reconstruction from in-the-wild video capture. You will advance the state of the art and ship production code to millions of customers. This is a remote, full time opportunity based in North, Central, or South America.

Requirements

• MS in computer science specializing in computer vision or computer graphics
• 3+ years industry experience developing 3D computer vision products
• Expertise in one or more of: structure from motion, SLAM, multiview stereo, pose estimation, depth estimation, depth fusion, NeRFs, Gaussian Splats
• Fluency in both Python and C++ and strong software engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency with one or more leading graphics APIs (e.g. OpenGL, CUDA, Vulkan)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
• Located in North, Central, or South America

Bonus

• PhD Preferred
• Practical background in 3D graphics and rendering
• Strong publication record at CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, or similar conferences
• Experience deploying computer vision and deep learning models on mobile devices
• Prior startup experience

Salary

IC4 (PhD / MS + 3 years experience): $156,000

IC5 (PhD + 2 years experience / MS + 5 years experience): $185,000
