AI Program Manager

TLDR

Own and manage the operational engine of the AI Enablement department, ensuring AI initiatives progress effectively from idea to impact through lifecycle tracking and stakeholder alignment.

The AI Enablement team serves as a central hub for accelerating AI adoption across InterSystems while maintaining trust, consistency, and governance. We operate with a portfolio mindset, balancing innovation with risk, with the goal of increasing AI adoption and ROI across the business. Team members work directly with individuals across the globe including product engineering teams, implementation teams, and customer-facing groups, and are expected to communicate clearly, make sound trade-offs, and drive alignment in complex, fast-moving environments.

The AI Enablement PM owns the operational engine of the AI Enablement department. This role ensures AI initiatives move quickly from idea to impact by running intake, prioritization, approvals, lifecycle tracking, and executive reporting—while aligning stakeholders across regions, functions, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities –

  • Own the single front door for AI requests: intake, triage, prioritization, and routing.
  • Manage the AI project lifecycle (intake → build → validate → deploy → monitor).
  • Coordinate approvals and reviews with legal, security, and leadership.
  • Build and maintain executive dashboards:
    • Active projects and lifecycle stages
    • Tool usage and adoption
    • AI maturity by org/region
    • Laggard and high-performing groups
  • Track and report on key KPIs: cycle time, adoption, reuse, maturity progression.
  • Coordinate GenAI vendor and partner engagements in collaboration with procurement and leadership.
  • Support enablement initiatives: cohorts, events, training hubs, and tooling rollout.
  • Ensure learnings (“what works / what doesn’t”) are captured and fed back into playbooks by working with engineering partners on AI enablement team.

 

Experience/Qualification Required

  • 5+ years in product, program, or portfolio management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort building processes from scratch.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into executive-level reporting.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with AI, data platforms, or developer tooling.
  • Experience running Centers of Excellence or platform programs.
  • Background in regulated or enterprise environments.

Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.

The estimated base compensation range for this role is:
$118,000$148,000 USD
