AI Operations Enablement Lead

AI overview

Accelerate the adoption of AI tools across client operations teams by focusing on practical enablement, workflow automation, and establishing safe AI usage practices.

We are looking for a hands-on professional to accelerate the adoption of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini across our clients' operations teams. This role focuses on practical enablement, workflow automation, and governance—helping non-technical teams use AI safely and effectively in their day-to-day work. The ideal candidate combines strong communication skills with no-code/low-code automation expertise and a pragmatic understanding of how AI can improve operational efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • Experience training or enabling non-technical teams such as operations, customer service, underwriting, or processing teams.
  • Strong no-code/low-code automation experience (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n), including building, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining workflows and integrations.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and practical prompting patterns, with the ability to translate business tasks into repeatable AI-assisted workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to teach, document, and drive adoption without relying on heavy technical jargon.
  • Familiarity with loan servicing or origination operations, or adjacent fintech operations.
  • Basic Python proficiency for small scripts and data tasks such as CSV transforms, validation checks, simple API usage, and regex/text parsing.
  • Familiarity with webhooks, simple APIs, and basic SQL for data pulls, validation, and integration troubleshooting.
  • Experience building internal enablement programs, including curriculum development, certifications, or knowledge bases.
  • Change management experience, including rollout planning, stakeholder alignment, and adoption measurement.

Responsibilities

AI Enablement & Training

  • Design and deliver practical AI training for Operations teams through workshops, onboarding sessions, and office hours.
  • Create and maintain a reusable AI playbook, including prompt patterns, use-case recipes, do/don’t guidance, and examples tailored to mortgage processing.
  • Coach SMEs and frontline users to apply AI effectively in daily workflows such as email drafting, document interpretation, checklist creation, exception handling, summarization, and QA support.

Workflow & Automation Execution

  • Identify high-impact workflows where AI and automation can reduce cycle time, improve quality, or eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Build and maintain no-code/low-code automations (workflow builders, integrations, data hygiene routines) with a skillset comparable to a strong CRM administrator.
  • Partner with SMEs to scope and deliver solutions, turning ambiguous problems into executable steps, tests, and deployed workflows.
  • Use basic Python for lightweight scripting (data cleanup, validation, file transforms, small utilities, and prototypes) when no-code solutions reach their limits.

Governance & Quality

  • Establish safe AI usage practices and guardrails, including approved tools, data-handling guidance, and reusable templates.
  • Define and track success metrics such as adoption, time saved, defect reduction, and SLA improvements, and report progress.
  • Maintain documentation including SOP updates, runbooks, workflow diagrams, and “how we do it” guides.

  • Competitive compensation in USD.
  • Fully remote work.
  • Flexible schedule and collaborative work environment.
