AI/ML Engineer Intern

• Collaborate with the team to research, prototype, and integrate AI/ML features into products.
• Study and enhance existing data science prototypes.
• Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning models and systems.
• Implement and fine-tune ML algorithms through statistical analysis and testing.
• Train, retrain, and optimize ML models for improved performance.
• Extend or customize existing ML libraries when necessary.
• Conduct market research on U.S. healthcare software trends (e.g., telehealth, remote care, health chatbots).
• Collaborate with the solution team and product managers on marketing strategies for healthcare-related products.
• Follow development guidelines to deliver clean, efficient, and testable code.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

General Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related IT field with a career interest in AI/ML.
• Available at least 4 days/week for 3–6 months (potential for full-time conversion).
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Team-oriented and eager to learn emerging technologies.

Technical Requirements:

• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and statistical models.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI is a plus.
• Knowledge of Deep Learning, NLP, or Computer Vision is an advantage.
