AI Implementation Specialist

AI overview

As an autonomous AI Implementation Specialist, you'll drive AI-powered solutions across teams, transforming manual processes into intelligent workflows.

AT CASTOR, WE DRIVE FASTER, SMARTER MEDICAL RESEARCH

Faster, more diverse clinical trials help extend the human health span, increase health equity and provide a greater return on investment for life sciences. That’s our mission.

We strive to improve the clinical trial experience for patients, sites and sponsors, using technology to accelerate every step of the clinical trial journey.

Our modular clinical trial platform enables the capture and re-use of research data from anywhere, anytime and helps optimize each activity in the clinical trial journey by reducing human effort with technology. From recruitment to monitoring, we help make it easier to design and deploy trials, enroll and engage patients, collect data and analyze results.

Next to being very purpose-driven, we are proud of our caring company culture. We follow our values diligently and take the well-being of each Castorian seriously.

What you’ll focus on

As an AI Implementation Specialist you will be Castor's internal AI problem-solver, working across the organization to identify opportunities where AI can streamline operations and improve efficiency. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll partner with teams in Finance, Sales, Operations and beyond to understand their challenges and implement practical AI-powered solutions.

This is a highly autonomous, impact-driven role perfect for someone who loves learning new domains quickly, solving real business problems, and applying the latest AI technologies in creative ways. You'll be the go-to person for 'Can AI help with this?' questions, turning manual, time-consuming processes into automated, intelligent workflows.

Who are you

  • You are more interested in building a working solution than in theoretical research
  • You have enough commercial understanding to manage diverse stakeholder requirements (like revenue recognition or sales funnels) and can prioritize your workload based on strategic impact
  • You have the soft skills to proactively seek out information and push for clarity when requirements are abstract
  • You are deeply excited by AI and spend time experimenting with new LLM capabilities and automation tools

What you’ll bring

  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical role (software development, solutions architect, automation, or related fields)
  • Programming skills in Python (or similar language) and ability to work with APIs and scripts
  • Proven track record of advocating for and implementing AI tooling (i.e.ChatGPT, Claude, OpenAI API, or similar) across multiple business areas
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and business domains quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-team and timezone collaboration and technical storytelling

Accepting candidates +2/-2 CET. At this time, we cannot accept applications from France, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, or Switzerland.
