AI Business Development – Summer Internship

We are a Dutch-Portuguese software development company with offices in Lisbon and Porto, and this Summer Internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI engineering and business strategy. You will not be maintaining existing systems or doing busy work, you will be building AI agents from scratch that directly feed into how we grow our business across Europe. 

This is a hands-on technical project with real commercial impact. By the end of the summer, your work will be running in production and actively shaping our go-to-market decisions.

🌍 We work within a hybrid model, with offices based in Lisbon and Porto. We are happy to hire candidates who are available to come to the office regularly. 

Requirements

💡 What you will build: 

• An AI scraping agent that continuously monitors job boards, extracts in-demand skills and technologies in the software development field, and produces a structured report identifying competency gaps relative to our current team. 

• A client discovery agent that searches company databases and news sources, filters prospects by tech stack, size, and growth signals, and outputs a ranked shortlist of potential clients for our business development team. 

• A go-to-market analysis built on top of both agents' output, helping us refine our positioning and outreach strategy across Europe.

💼 What we are looking for: 

• Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc in a Business or engineering-related field.  

• You think you’ve experimented with LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) more than most and are genuinely curious about taking them beyond simple prompts. 

• Comfortable with data processing and analysis.  

• Some exposure to programming or automation. 

• Good communication skills in English. 

• Curious about business development, market research, or go-to-market strategy.

   

➕ Nice to have: 

• Comfortable writing Python. 

• Prior experience developing basic AI Agents with or without agent frameworks. 

• Basic understanding of web technologies: how APIs work, HTML structure, or the logic behind web scraping. 

💻 Our recruitment process will consist of 2 stages: 

Stage 1 - 30-minute conversation with a Recruiter, to get to know each other and talk through the project. 

Stage 2 – 1,5-hour group dynamic with our Project Director, who will also be your mentor throughout the internship. This is a chance to get to know each other and see if it's a great fit on both sides. 

To keep the recruitment process aligned with the kind of work you’ll be doing during the internship, we may include a short assignment. Should this happen, all candidates will receive the necessary details in advance.
