We’re looking for someone who can turn our Microsoft 365 environment and AI stack into the operational engine of the business. This role is hands-on and practical: mapping how work actually happens, fixing inefficiencies, automating bottlenecks, and building the intelligent systems that make our design and construction teams move faster with fewer errors.
You’ll work directly with leadership to analyse workflows, structure data, design automations, and build Copilot-driven tools that support real daily operations — from design and documentation to planning, finance, and delivery.
This is a role for a systems thinker who loves building clean, logical, scalable workflows and using AI to remove friction from people’s day-to-day work.
What You’ll Do
Microsoft 365 Architecture & Workflow Design
- Map business processes across design, construction, finance, and operations.
- Architect SharePoint for structured documentation, knowledge, schedules, drawings, and project data.
- Design workflows using Teams, Planner, OneDrive, OneNote, Loop, and Power BI, N8n and Other AI Tools so teams work in a unified system.
- Build agents and automations that support:
- project tracking and reporting
- document search and generation
- knowledge queries
- schedule and BOQ/schedule table creation
- Populating template information
Automation & AI Implementation
- Build automations in Power Automate (and when useful, n8n/Zapier) to eliminate repetitive manual work.
- Create intelligent search and retrieval systems pulling from SharePoint, drawings, schedules, and historical project data.
- Implement AI tools for:
- document understanding
- image/sheet extraction
- quote and spec comparison
- drawing/spec-to-table extraction
- error-checking workflows (presentations ↔ drawings ↔ schedules)
- Set up data pipelines to classify, clean, organise, and structure project knowledge.
Dashboards & Operational Insight
- Build dashboards for:
- project status
- team allocation
- financial summaries
- productivity metrics
- Connect dashboards to SharePoint lists, Excel, Planner, and other data sources.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor automation and agent performance and refine for speed, accuracy, and team usability.
- Stay current with new Copilot features and propose upgrades to our architecture.
-
Help set best practices for naming conventions, file structure, version control, and documentation.
-
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365: SharePoint (architecture + governance), Power Automate, Power BI, Power BI, Teams, Planner.
- Practical experience building Copilot-based workflows inside Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on automation experience using Power Automate; bonus if you’ve used n8n, Zapier, or similar.
- Comfortable with Python/AI APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic) and vector search tools (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, FAISS).
- Understanding of ETL/data structuring, especially within enterprise cloud ecosystems.
- A problem-solver who enjoys building end-to-end workflows, not one-off hacks.
-
Bonus: experience in AEC, design tech, or operations for SMEs/startups.
Why This Role Is Exciting
- Direct access to leadership and real operational challenges across luxury design, construction, and tech.
- You get to architect the entire intelligent workflow layer of the studio — not maintain legacy systems.
- Every automation saves real hours, reduces real errors, and improves live projects.
- You’ll help build one of the first AI-augmented design + build studios in the world.
- Your work will be used daily by designers, architects, QS teams, ops, and leadership — immediate impact, zero bureaucracy.
