Contract Duration: This is an initial 6-month contract engagement, with strong potential for renewal.
You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master supporting software development teams in fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience working with ScrumBan or hybrid Agile models, adapting process while delivery is ongoing.
- Strong ability to operate with weekly releases and frequent priority changes.
- Demonstrated experience absorbing unplanned work (production incidents, partner dependencies) without stopping delivery.
- Strong backlog management experience: Definition of Ready, story refinement, prioritization, and estimation.
- Ability to challenge teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to improve speed, quality, and accountability.
- Solid understanding of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps mindset).
- Comfortable using metrics to expose delivery constraints and drive change.
- Solid Business Analysis fundamentals, including requirements gathering, refinement, and stakeholder alignment.
- Advanced English is required, as you will work directly with US-based clients.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Scrum Master, ensuring Agile values, principles, and practices are consistently applied.
- Design, implement, and continuously evolve a ScrumBan delivery model for Integration and Data teams.
- Protect sprint integrity while managing frequent production and partner-driven disruptions.
- Drive visible delivery improvements through metrics, retrospectives, and action-oriented follow-ups.
- Partner closely with BAs and POs to ensure backlogs are always ready to support fast delivery.
- Increase delivery speed and accountability without sacrificing quality.
- Promote an ownership-driven mindset across teams in a high-change environment.
- Support leadership initiatives around AI-assisted development and process optimization.
- Hands-on experience working with ScrumBan / hybrid Agile models in fast-paced environments.
