Agentic AI Software Engineer

AI overview

Work directly with the CEO to rapidly ship new API security products, leveraging agentic coding tools and mentoring peers in innovative workflows.

Since 2016, Wallarm has been on a mission to secure the internet's critical infrastructure: APIs. Today, we are the trusted choice for over 200 of the world's most innovative companies, from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 and Nasdaq leaders. Our unified platform provides full-lifecycle API security — helping teams discover their attack surface, protect against modern threats, and respond to incidents in real-time. As a graduate of Y Combinator and fueled by a recent $55M Series C, we are scaling our global, remote-first team of 180+ innovators to solve the next generation of security challenges.

About this opportunity:

At Wallarm, we've been using agentic coding tools internally for months. They work. We're now forming a dedicated team to build new API security products using this approach full-time.

The role: You'll work directly with our CEO to ship new products fast. Really fast. We're talking features in days, not sprints. You'll also help other Wallarm engineers learn these workflows — this team doubles as a training ground for the rest of engineering.

What You'll Do:

  • Ship production code using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools daily

  • Own features end-to-end: design, build, deploy, iterate

  • Work directly with product and leadership — no layers, no waiting

  • Help other engineers adopt agentic workflows (think: internal bootcamp)

  • Make architectural decisions that stick

Requirements

Who you’re:

  • You’re an AI-native developer. You have mastered tools like Claude Code or Cursor and use them to ship real products every day.

  • You’re an engineer first. You understand that AI makes good engineers better, not lazy. You care deeply about system design, architecture, and code quality.

  • You love to ship. You get energy from seeing your work in the wild. You prefer iterative improvements over endless planning.

  • You go where the work is. Frontend, backend, or infra—you are a true generalist willing to work across the entire stack.

  • You are a clear communicator. You know that successful remote work and mentorship rely on precise, transparent communication.

Our technology stack:

We use the best tools for the job to build a modern, scalable platform:

  • Backend: Golang (Gin), Ruby (Rails API, Sinatra), Python (Data Science/ML)

  • Frontend: React (Single Page Application)

  • Databases: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, Redis, Riak/S3, Tarantool

  • Infrastructure & DevOps: Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, CI/CD

Why you'll love working at Wallarm:

  • Fully Remote: Work from anywhere with a culture grounded in trust, autonomy, and flexible asynchronous delivery.

  • Best-in-Class Tooling: We support your craft with whatever you need to succeed, including Claude Max and Cursor Pro.

  • Direct Leadership Access: Skip the bureaucracy and collaborate directly with decision-makers to move fast.

  • Real Ownership: Take full responsibility for your work, shipping code that directly impacts our enterprise customers.

  • Foundational Impact: This is a rare chance to define how Wallarm builds software and shape our engineering future.
