The Agentic AI Expert plays a key role in the technological transformation of Rodeo FX. Working in close partnership with the Head of Innovation, this role contributes to the design, integration, and evolution of Agentic AI systems, including autonomous agents, intelligent workflows, and their connection to the studio’s internal tools and pipeline. 

Grounded in a strong understanding of VFX and post-production, the Agentic AI Expert connects both the creative and production realities to spot opportunities for improvement and turn them into reusable, scalable patterns that support continuous improvement at studio scale, while directly contributing to the efficiency and fluidity of VFX post-production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Agentic AI Strategy and Use Cases

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize high-impact use cases where Agentic AI can simplify, automate, or enhance creative and production workflows.
  • Work with teams to turn operational challenges into clear, measurable innovation opportunities.
  • Define objectives, performance indicators, and automation boundaries for each solution, including where human control is required.

Architecture and Pipeline Integration

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of robust agent systems integrated with internal tools, APIs, Flow, and other Rodeo FX solutions.
  • Collaborate with Pipeline and IT teams to ensure stable, performant integrations that follow software engineering best practices.
  • Develop reusable, scalable components so new Agentic AI use cases can be added quickly while staying compatible with existing creative and post-production workflows.

Quality, Governance, and Safety

  • Implement testing and validation protocols to ensure reliability, consistency, and quality of Agentic AI outputs.
  • Manage security, confidentiality, and data governance in line with internal policies and legal standards.
  • Document workflows and key decisions to guarantee traceability and support continuous improvement, and adjust solutions as needed to keep them stable, relevant, and trustworthy.

Adoption, Enablement, and Communications

  • Support teams in understanding, using, and trusting new Agentic AI solutions.
  • Create clear, accessible training and support materials (demos, guides, documentation).
  • Collect user feedback, analyze impact, iterate on solutions, and regularly communicate progress and learnings to studio leadership and key stakeholders.

R&D, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain an active watch on Agentic AI technologies, LLMs, and emerging agent frameworks.
  • Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to quickly test and validate new ideas.
  • Measure gains (time, efficiency, quality, satisfaction), propose next steps, and share learnings, best practices, and results to strengthen Rodeo FX’s innovation culture
  • Experience in VFX or post-production (typically 4 to 7 years), with a concrete understanding of both creative and operational realities.
  • Proven ability to identify workflow improvement opportunities and turn them into tangible solutions.
  • Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining production-grade workflows in n8n.
  • Good foundation in software development (ideally Python) and comfort working with APIs and cloud environments.
  • 1 to 2 years of practical experience with AI, machine learning, or agent-based workflows, combined with exposure to leading change or deploying AI-driven tools to design automations, build tools, or improve production pipelines.
  • Understanding of security, governance, and compliance considerations related to data and AI systems.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, able to translate technical and creative needs in both directions.
  • Curiosity, rigor, autonomy, a practical mindset, and the ability to experiment with new approaches in a structured way.
  • Full-time, Permanent Contract;
