DATA ANALYTICS AND ENGINEERING

Assist business analysts across all departments and markets with developing impactful analytics products, guiding them from ideation through proof of concept and value to scalable assets. This involves solving them solve business challenges using advanced analytics methodologies, techniques, and tools. Emphasis will be placed on data acquisition and preprocessing, requiring the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines in line with best practices in data architecture. Support will also extend to developing use-case scripts capable of being transformed into widely accessible applications.

DATA ETHNOGRAPHY

Research, discover and identify new valuable data sources for analysts to enhance the depth, insightfulness, and overall value of their analysis. You''ll support the validation of these newly identified data sources by assessing their quality, relevance, and scalability. Finally, independently lead the data provisioning projects when needed, in cooperation with IT project managers and development teams.

COLLABORATION, COMMUNICATION AND TRAINING

You'll provide guidance to analysts on accessing and using data pipelines effectively. You'll also support the team managing our global analytics enablement program (500 analysts), including community management when needed. Additionally, you'll work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on projects. Furthermore, you'll contribute to fostering a data-driven culture in the organisation by conducting regular knowledge exchanges and presenting at global meetings. Finally, you'll design, prepare, and deliver global training sessions as appropriate.

Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a data professional (e.g. data engineer, data scientist) or in a business/IT consulting position

Strong and proven knowledge in SQL and database cloud solutions, ideally Snowflake, combined with proficiency in standard data architecture design and modelling.

Expertise in using Python and Git/Github is expected; familiarity with PySpark and Snowpark will be a strong plus

Experience in creating interactive web apps (e.g., using Streamlit or RShiny) and knowledge of business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI are beneficial

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Team-player and collaborative (“copy-left” vs “copyright”).

Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work on different projects in parallel.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,303 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
